The Easter long weekend is almost upon us (hooray!). If you're looking at the time off and wondering what to do, consider trying out a few of these flower pot decorations and stands for your houseplants.
If you're interested in gifting a plant instead for the Easter long weekend - check out our catalogue of pot plants.
Label Your Herb Plants
Want your herb plants of labelled? All you have to do is place them in terracotta pots, paint over with white chalk paint, then use a stamp set to emboss the herb name on the side of the pot.
This DIY comes from Rustic and Woven.
Decorate With A Smile
A similar idea to above, we love the way these cute pot plants look when decorated with a smile. Gold Standard Workshop gives insights on how to redo this look.
Create A Wire Plant Stand
You can use tomato cages or any cone-shaped wire e.g. upside down lampshades. Then simply spray or paint over the metal to give it the finish you want. Just make sure you've checked the pot plant will fit at the top!
Design A Macrame Plant Hanger
If there's not enough space on the ground you can quite easily create your own macrame plant hanger. There are tonnes of DIY YouTube videos and blogs about this - we like this one from FTD By Design to create a tie-dyed hanger for interest.
Did we at all inspire you for the long weekend? Let us know if you decide to try any of these DIYs hashtag #lucysflorist on Facebook and Instagram and we'll give you a shout out on our page. Happy Easter!
