Delivery FAQs

What are your normal delivery hours?

Normal delivery hours for Lucy’s Florist are between 9am and 5pm Mon-Sat for business addresses, and between 9am and 7pm Mon-Sat for residential addresses. Lucy’s Florist offers same day delivery for orders submitted before 12 noon AEST on weekdays and before 9am on Saturday. Any orders submitted after these times may be delivered the next business day.

Can you deliver on Sundays?

Please email us if you require delivery from Lucy's Florist on a Sunday to the local area which includes Summer Hill, Ashfield, Burwood, Dulwich Hill, Haberfield, Hurlstone Park, Leichardt, Lewisham, Petersham, Stanmore and Strathfield. If an express courier is available, this can be booked for an additional delivery fee. Online orders can be placed for the preceding Saturday or the next business day to all areas in metropolitan Sydney.

Is same day delivery possible if I order after 12 noon AEST weekdays or 9am Saturday?

Same day delivery of orders placed after these times may be possible however cannot be guaranteed. If you have an urgent request for same day delivery, please contact us by emailing: info@lucysflorist.com. Additional delivery charges may apply.

Do you deliver on Public holidays?

Lucy’s Florist does not deliver on any Australian or NSW public holiday, including Good Friday, Easter Monday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. If you place an order for delivery on these days, we will deliver your order on the next business day.

How early do I need to order for delivery on special occasions like Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day?

To guarantee delivery, orders for delivery on special occasions such as Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day should be placed by 3pm AEST the day prior. Early bird discounts may be available for orders placed between 2-4 weeks before these special occasions – please check our website for any offers.

Can I request a time for delivery?

Unfortunately Lucy’s Florist cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. Please contact us by emailing: info@lucysflorist.com if you have a special request. We will make every effort to fulfill your request but cannot guarantee it.

What happens if the recipient is not home?

If the recipient is not home at the time of delivery the order will be left at the recipient’s front or back door, if our experienced couriers deem it safe to do so or if requested to do so by the sender. Otherwise, a calling card will be left on the recipient's door or in their letterbox requesting them to call us to arrange to pickup the order from our shop in Summer Hill or organise a suitable time for re-delivery of the order. Additional charges may apply for re-delivery.

What happens if the delivery details supplied are incorrect?

Lucy’s Florist makes every effort to ensure flowers and gifts arrive safely at the intended delivery address. It is however the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate delivery details at the time of ordering. If the order is delivered to the address supplied by the customer and the address is incorrect, then if the order can be recovered, Lucy’s Florist will contact the customer and additional charges may apply for re-delivery. However, if the order is delivered to an incorrect address and can’t be recovered, Lucy’s Florist cannot accept any responsibility for such loss.

Can I order online for Interstate and International delivery?

Lucy’s Florist is located in Sydney, New South Wales. Orders that are not for delivery in the Sydney Metropolitan area are sent through our network of florists (Petals Network). We do not currently accept orders online for interstate and international deliveries. However you can order by emailing: info@lucysflorist.com.

We will endeavour to ensure our relay service sends out flowers that match the products on our website as closely as possible. However, due to seasonal and regional differences in product availability, we cannot guarantee orders placed for delivery outside the Sydney Metro area will appear as pictured on our website. Any substitutions will be of equal or higher value, and will keep with the theme of the flowers originally chosen.

Free Delivery Limited Offer

What is the free delivery offer?

Free delivery is a special limited offer from the Lucy's Florist website. It is only available during selected periods when the promotion is active and the banner is advertised on the home page.

Is my order eligible for free delivery?

During the promotion period, your order will be delivered free of charge if you spend a minimum of $55 on your total order through the website. The free delivery will automatically be applied during the checkout payment process if you place your order during the offer period.

Are there any limits on free delivery?

Same day delivery is only guaranteed for orders placed before 12pm AEST. Orders placed after this time for the same day may incur additional delivery charges. We will contact you to confirm, or to reschedule your order for the following day. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee a specific delivery time.
