For many, ANZAC day is about remembrance, especially this April 25th, which marks the 100th year of ANZAC day. Many people visit the graves of loved ones from years past, or go down to the ANZAC day parade in the Sydney CBD. We all hold for a minute of silence at 11am on ANZAC and Remembrance day to listen to the ‘Last Post’. To remember the ANZAC legend and the loved ones we’ve lost to war, here are Lucy’s Florists favourite bouquets and wreaths.
Topaz
A gorgeous posy bouquet, the Topaz includes poppies, fressias, chincherinches, and roses in a dreamy mix of pinks, whites and greens. A beautiful way to honour ANZAC.
Wreath - Round Colourful
This vibrant floral wreath features a mixed colour theme of roses, chrysanthemums, and gerberas. The rich, warm colours and brightness of the bouquet symbolise the rebirth and renewal from terrible tragedies such as ANZAC day.
Wreath - Cross
For a more traditional, Christian representation to honour the day, the Cross wreath features white and pink mourning flowers, including delicate oriental lilies, roses, and chrysanthemums.
