Floriade, Canberra - 14 Sept - 13 Oct
A longstanding tradition in Canberra - Floriade is celebrating its 32nd year with the theme 'World In Bloom'. The event promises over a million tulips but more than that, they'll be music, food, a 'night fest', entertainment and cultural hotspots. Come along on October 13th for the 'Dog's Day Out' addition. Best of all, entry is free.
Main Beach Flower Festival, QLD - 7 - 8 Sept
Available for just one weekend, the Main Beach Spring Flower Festival features two days packed with immersive flower events and abundant free entertainment. Attend a succulent wall art workshop, edible high-tea events and performances and floral demonstrations.
Leura Gardens Festival, NSW - 5 - 13 Oct
This will be the 55th celebration of this festival for a great cause - to raise funds for the Blue Mountains ANZAC Memorial Hospital and other local health-related organisations. Expect to see bands playing, tulips swaying and plants available for purchase.
Bowral Tulip Time Festival, Bowral, NSW - 24 Sept - 7 October
Now in its 59th year, this tulip festival is another stunner with 90,000 mass planted tulips expected. There's different events and exhibits each day, including a Tulip Time Twilight Festival to be held on 24 September. The winner of the 2015 World Tulip award - this show is sure to be a wonderland of colour, music and fun!
